Lounge H album Pre-Order for Singapore

Hi friends,

… The bad news is, Sukbar is not accepting any overseas order from other countries. I’m very sorry that I’m not able to help.
There is a chance though, that the special edition may turn up for sale on various international websites, and definitely the normal edition will too.

For those residing in Singapore (and can collect from me in Singapore), Daydreaming has a friend who is able to help us place the order with Hong Kong’s Suk Nation.

Payment Deadline for you: Wednesday, 7 September 2011, 11.00 pm

Apologies for such short notice, because we have to get the payment to the contact in Singapore, who then has to get it to Suk Nation in Hong Kong, who then has a payment deadline to face too.

Cost of one album = HK$ 80 ~ SGD 13
Estimated shipping charge = SGD 7 – 9 (amended)
Cost of one album = * SGD 20 – 22 (amended)

PROJECT UPDATE

Hi, most of you would know about the full-colour Photo Booklet project that we are doing, which aims to showcase JKS’ international fans i.e. you. Our theme is “Jang Keun Suk – The World’s Brightest Star”.

The 15 August deadline is coming up soon, so if you have not sent us your submission, please do it soon! Take the chance to be featured in this project, and tell JKS how much you support him! For further details, please read the below.

And thanks so much to friends who have offered suggestions on how we can make this project better. Would need further discussion with team-mates, though I’d like to include the latest Z-Zin interview and take comments from there or other interviews. As for including other blog comments or comments/views of his dramas etc, my team would have to think about how this falls in line with our theme.

Thanks everyone! 🙂

(I) INTRODUCTION

This is the first gift project that JangKeunSuk Forever Blog is undertaking. It’s not going to be a birthday present or Christmas present, but once we have completed the project, we will hand-deliver it to Tree-J in October 2011.

Many fans have been giving JKS lots of gifts, videos, scrapbooks and lots, lots more. As much as we are and want to shower JKS with gifts, really, the most important thing is not the gift itself, but that it is an expression of our love and support. As many have said on this blog and elsewhere, JKS is a multi-talented person but more than that, we support him because of his wonderful, fun and loving personality.

So, no matter which corner of the earth you’re from, so long as you are a JKS fan, all we need is perhaps just 5 to 10 minutes of your time to participate in this international project. Let us show to JKS how international he already is!

[Personal note] In Shanghai!

Dear friends,

Since a hectic Wed 6 July when I left for Shanghai after a busy day of work and last-minute speed packing, I haven’t been able to access internet for the past 2 days. The good news for me as a first-time visitor to Shanghai is that I actually got to see more of Shanghai than JKS this time round 😀

As an eel, that’s bad news, of course.

Due to travelling inconveniences and the slow internet speed, blog updates may be less frequent and timely (Poor daydreaming, previously known as Chicken Little, has to bear with all of my travelling quirks and my incessant “I want the internet” ;p )

Thankfully, I think most of you have other sources to get our Prince’s information too ^^

So my apologies and do forgive my tardiness during my Shanghai trip.
Will be back in Singapore on Mon 11 July but expected to be busy for a couple of days more ….

p.s. due to spam filter, your comment will be held for moderation if you post 2 links and more … If it’s not too troublesome, perhaps u can post 1 link at a time… sorry …..

Cheers from Shanghai,
Aphrael

JKS Ole goodies to go …. …

Aphrael77: Hi, to make it easier for Staying Up Late, I’m reposting her message here.
I think she’s selling most of the JKS Ole candy stuff she bought, you can leave your email address in a comment here. I assume this is open to those in Singapore only?

To Staying Up Late, I was wondering what you were doing in BKK when JKS wasn’t there!
So you went to places that he had gone before to visualize what it was like with him there …. …. ….
Anyway, great that you had a fruitful trip!

————- From Staying Up Late ————-

After attending the Singapore fan meeting and then subsequently reading all the FANtastic fan accounts on HK and BKK I’ve been very, very, very tempted to follow on the MY, TW and SH fan meetings. Alas, with family on hand one simply couldn’t drop everything and hit the roads on impulse!

As a result, I could only do the next best thing, go to BKK (at a time accomodating the family, ie not while Keun Suk was in town), visit the autograph signing and photo-taking venue and buy up all the JKS ole candies! The autograph and photo-taking venue is great, air-conditioned with huge tv monitors – definately better then Marina Sq in Singapore. I was visualizing how it looked while Keun Suk was there, based on the wonderful pictures of the event taken by Aphrael and team. When I read Aphrael”s 27 May autograph and photo-taking report, I already told myself that I MUST get hold of all those merchandise photographed on the hotel bed!!!! So I scoured all the supermarkets and 711 to find the candies while in BKK. Keun Suk’s ole candies are really selling well because there were NONE left on the shelves.

Finally on the last day of departure, they replenished stocks! Here, there and everywhere, I managed to acquire ALL and complete sets of the multiple versions/packaging JKS candies including 4 heart shaped tins, winky eyes and sweets. Happiness and glee!

Should any of you out there who are going through the same feelings as me and would be comforted having something with JKS’s adorable, happy and handsome face on it plus him being actively involved with, leave a message here with your email address and I will get in touch with you.

This is my fan account.:)

Thanks Ivy and if Keun Suk’s anniversary party next year in SKorea can fall within local school holiday periods I would love to go, will you be organising?

————- END of message ————-

Shanghai Cri Show pre-order ends Fri 27 May, 12 noon (China time)

Just a reminder for those considering going that the official pre-order will end this Friday at 12 noon (China time), which means that whichever pre-order mode you choose, your payment must reach the other party before the deadline.
For details, please refer to this post.

In response to a query, I am planning to go to Shanghai Cri Show (with Chicken Little), and in fact after days of anxiety and frustration over bank transfer issues, I’ve decided to pre-order through KeunSukChina and today transferred the payment in US dollars to KSC via Paypal, which turns out to be the easiest method. You can google on Paypal and find out how to register and use it. Paypal needs verification from your credit card company though, a process that may take 1 to 2 days though my memory may prove wrong (please call your credit card company to find out). Then there is a transfer fee charged by Paypal, not to mention the currency conversion charged to your card.

The good news for those who want to pre-order Shanghai Cri Show ticket is, you can place your order with KSC even if you are not their forum member. However, KSC informs that

[Personal] Confession of a JKS addict

10

Ok, I’ve got a sin to confess …after the upset of the Taipei Cri Show ticket sales and despite the consolation of the Kuala Lumpur Cri Show, I did a very impulsive thing today – I recalled a Veron posting here that she’s going by herself to Bangkok FM, which got me thinking, hey, can I tag along with her? And once the seed is planted, er I had no way of stopping the thought from sprouting, and one thing leads to another, so this afternoon I bought the Bangkok Cri Show standing ticket and booked my travel arrangements – all done!

[Deadline: Fri 6 May 2011] Aphrael77’s Group Order for Jplus official photo-book

Dear Friends,

This is just a reminder for those residing in Singapore who wish to pre-order Jplus through me, and haven’t done so.

As of now, I have sent a pre-order email to those who have indicated interest to order, and you need to transfer payment to me by end of Friday 6 May 2011 for me to include your order.

Currently there is no official news at all on the contents and release date of the International version of the photo-book.
Anyway, please note the possibility that if there are excess copies of Jplus, these MAY be available on YesAsia etc at a later date (which includes shipping charges usually). So it is your decision whether to order through me now.

Once I have placed the order on the Japanese website, no refund will be made to you.

GST & PROMOTION

Many thanks to Ferlyn who highlighted the GST issue and credit card promotion (erm sorry I didn’t have time to do thorough research….).

vPost has confirmed that for individually packed shipments below S$400 per shipment, GST will not be incurred. This means I will place various orders instead of one big order.

For details on the pre-order, please refer to this post.

For details on what Jplus is all about, please refer to this post.

Pre-order Jplus official photobook by 6 May 2011 through Aphrael77

5682600404_fe1260b378

For people in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, vPost allows you to place an order with the Japanese merchant and will provide you with a Japanese (vPost) address. Then vPost will ship from their Japan address to your address. Shipping charges will escalate if the shipment is heavy.

You need to register a vPost account and it takes a few days to activate an account depending on the requirements and efficiency of vPost in your country.

I’ve been quiet on this topic because my JKS craze and my rational side have been warring with each other for days and I cannot make up my mind whether to buy or not. Just this morning when I’ve come to the painfully rational conclusion to wait for it to be available on YesAsia, then while writing this post and calculating the costs, I decided to just go ahead and buy it anyway!!!

Well, I know a few of you from Singapore and if you wish to place an order through my vPost account, I can help but you will need to pay the full (estimated) amount upfront in cash via bank transfer.

Please note though, there is always a possibility that any Jplus Limited left over from this pre-order round MAY be available on YesAsia at a later date, and YesAsia’s delivery may be free. So please make your own decision. For details,

Message dated 22 May 2010 from JKS

Shared by: Ning on FB

This is an old message from JKS dated 22 May 2010.
I have read the Chinese translation of it somewhere in Baidu Sukbar, so I think it’s as authentic as it could be.
Strong views from our dear JKS, but this is him – a guy who dares to say what he feels, a guy who does his best and fights for what he wants, a guy who is involved in all nitty-gritty details of organizing events and yet is not defeated by all the problems that he faced when doing so. But he does feel down when fans misunderstand him or blame him for glitches happening during events.

So in view of all his hard work and perseverance, let’s continue to give JKS our love, support and understanding!
JKS, you are the best! Fighting!!

Hi everyone,

I’m getting a bit tired of defending JKS from statements like why Hong Kong Cri Show is “better” than the Singapore one i.e. does it mean that JKS is biased and treated fans in other countries better etc…

The only point I want to make is that I regret not going to the HKG one, NOT that I think Singapore’s is not good. I enjoyed every song he sang at S’pore FM, and I cherished my chance to see him in Singapore and at the FM. The audience felt very high, especially Lounge H! I was awed by his performance!

I have no further comments about the differences in stage and audio-visual effects between the two venues, other than the fact that S’pore’s venue is obviously not equipped to be a full-fledged concert stage.

As for the programme,
