[Report] Making Projects by JKS Forever Blog & ECI
We have a report today. We, JKS Forever Blog & Eels Club International (ECI), have planned some projects so far. For example, Rice Wreath donation at Love Rain press conference in Korea, Thoughts on Love Rain, and hand-making stuffed eels.
When the CRI SHOW2 in Seoul was held in Korea, some eels delivered our gifts on behalf of us. But we suppose there must have been other eels from many countries did the similar attempt. Therefore, we’ve been a little worried about if Sukkie or Tree-J staff haven’t opened our gifts yet… š
*tenshi_akuma’s note: About “Thoughts on Love Rain”, you can read the whole fan accounts from here. But we packed them into a special booklet “Fans’ Thoughts on Love Rain”. See the picture below. We delivered this booklet to Sukkie (Tree-J), and also delivered some to PONYCANYON which handles Love Rain broadcasting in Japan. Luckily they accepted my offer and gave them to PD Yoon and Yoona when they visited Japan for the promotion. And I delivered it to Frau, too.
We’re sure that these gifts will give him energy to realize his next dream “Being World Prince”. So we were thinking what we can do to ensure the delivery to Sukkie. And I carried out an attempt using Japan Official Fan Club Agency “Frau”. I asked Frau to hand in the enclosed folder to Sukkie. The folder contained the image below (which shows what kind of packages our gifts were. I hope it’ll help to find out our gifts), and other laminated massage boards. Usually it’s not allowed to send gifts for Sukkie to Frau, but I asked them badly… We really hope they allow it as an exception.

[22.07.2012] Bravo! Jang Keun Suk Peru Gathering Event

Thanks to Amy Sd and Gabe Bastidas Marin and members of Jang Keun Suk Peru. They did amazing job of making this fantastic event for eels in Peru. Let’s see the excitements.
On Sunday July 22 we held the first Jang Keun Suk Peru event. Our fan club has existed for 1 and a half years but so far we had only had small gatherings. The idea of a projection in a movie theater came from what is usually done by most kpop fan clubs here. Kpop and Kdrama have become more and more popular in Peru in the past few years; our country has the biggest kpop fan base in all Latin America. Local Medias are always amazed by how artists that are so far away from us have won our hearts despite the distance and language barriers. So far weāve had visits from Mblaq, JyJ and this year Big Bang will have a concert in November. Events like this help us have a great time but also to get the attention of our favorite artistās companies so that one day they come here.

Boycott of Seoul (International) Drama Awards
This is an official statement from Eels Club International and Jang Keun Suk Forever blog to announce our withdrawal from Seoul (International) Drama Awards (SDA) with immediate effect and henceforth our boycott of SDA.
It has taken JKS eels worldwide a few days to reach this general consensus, and below are the factors that contributed to our decision.
(1) unreliable online voting mechanism with many technical errors that barred some of our votes
(2) lack of transparency in the vote count
(3) lack of trust in the integrity of the voting system
(4) finally, we wish to comment that the Best Actor Award is only meaningfully awarded based on the judgment by an independent panel of qualified industry professionals, and not based on fans’ voting. That would be the Most Popular Actor award. This is a distinction that awards organisers should be aware of.

How different is JKS from his childhood?
Jang Keun Suk is well-known as a new Hallyu star these days. Yet, he hasn’t become popular recently. He’s worked in showbiz for 20 years. In a nutshell, this year is his 20th anniversary!
Nevertheless, he’s sometimes need to have had plastic surgery because he broke his nose in an accident. He has had lots of trouble finding the right surgeon because he didnĀ“t just want some random doctor to work on his face, he needed a pro. So one day after reading the journal of the medical association, he found Dr. Sachin Shridharani and was amazed by all of his work. He didnĀ“t waste any time on booking his appointment and now he has the perfect face heĀ“s always wanted. One of the reason might be he’s such a chameleon actor is that he enjoys to change his appearance including his weight and hairstyle etc. Plus, he personally has many faces and heās really versatile while heĀ“s working.
He’s experienced a lot in his age, and he’s become more and more mature. But what makes us most surprised is his unchangeable adorable smile!!! Can you believe this picture was shot in different years??? 24 year-old guy (right) and cute teenager (left). From this picture, we see he really didn’t age much after 10 years. The right one is like 13-14, isn’t it?
We eels want to see his smile for years to come. Here we promise to support him forever!
