[article] Jang Keun Suk Fires up the 2012 Summer Sonic Festival in Japan

Jang Keun Suk got the crowd going once more with his DJ skills and performance on stage.

Jang Keun Suk took part in the 2012 Summer Sonic Festival on August 18 and 19 in Osaka and Tokyo as part of his project group, Team H. Dubbed Asia’s largest music festival, the two-day concert included performances from major global acts such as Green Day, Rihanna, Sigur Ros and more.

Going on stage with his music partner, Big Brother, as part of Team H, the duo performed a string of their recent album’s tracks including We Are, Shake It, Gotta Get Cha and more, which were remixed, for 40 minutes.

The mere presence of Jang Keun Suk on stage was enough to get the crowd riled up. At one point, Jang Keun Suk even had to temporarily halt his performance on the Rainbow Stage at the Tokyo concert as the standing concert attendees were becoming crushed from the crowd.

The group followed the performance with an interview on stage discussing the festival and its music in English.

Jang Keun Suk will next be performing in Taiwan on September 1 as part of his ongoing 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour The CRI Show 2.

Team H abruptly changed the hot atmosphere of SUMMER SONIC into clubbing air. Team H is a unit formed by a famous Hallyu star Jang Keun Suk and his partner on music Big Brother. They made a long-awaited debut in Japan this March. Their trendy tunes have succeeded to get many supports from music fans.

They appeared on stage with the first tune “We are..” Then, while performing “Can’t Stop”, Big Brother showed us his superb DJ-ing. Continuously, they performed “NO HUMAN SMELL” and “SHAKE IT”. Their great chemistry fascinated the audience. During the talk session, Jang Keun Suk said, “Put your health first!” with a Kansai accent.
