I’m kind of a slow person when it comes to accepting or liking some songs. No problem with “Marry me Mary” OST – I love all four songs by Jang Keun Suk.

Here’s a snapshot of my thoughts process:

1st time listening: [playing it softly during lunchtime in office] I just heard a lot of loud noise…. Rock is not my preferred music …. Shucks, what is going to happen if I don’t like JKS’ song?! OMG…. @_@

2nd time: I still hear a lot of loud noise ….

Wrap-up: "You're my Pet" Ibaraki press conference

Aphrael77’s Note:
I would like this article, which gives quite a detailed account of the press conference, to be my last post wrapping up the entire event, so that I don’t continue to blog bits and pieces of news. Also, I added from many sources various video clips and also some pictures that Sukbar eels touched up themselves, so that these pics are of higher resolution than what the Japanese media released. In fact, some Sukbar eels are grumbling about why Japan, being reputed as the maker of cameras, are releasing media photographs which are not of high resolution (haha~).

Apologies in advance if I’m not able to give proper credits (they’re all from various eels in Sukbar) due to the length of the post and well, I get confused sometimes taking from various sources. Anyway, just to say that I’m very thankful to various sources for providing the information and the lovely pics. If I duplicate any pic or video, sorry. Am getting tired after a long day and my mind’s not focusing …

I do have some thoughts arising from the article, but let’s discuss them later, shall we? 🙂

On 3 March, the Korean version “You’re my Pet” press conference was held at the South Park near Ibaraki Airport, with the main characters Jang Keun Suk, Kim Ha-neul and Choi Jong Hoon and the director Kim Byung Gon in attendance. This is the first time that a Korean movie press conference is held at an airport and at an outdoor location; even the media found it a refreshing experience. Like the audience, almost all of the media rushed there from Tokyo, and most took the chartered coaches provided by the organisers. Some reporters commented laughingly that “this interview feels like an outing”.

The press conference attracted nearly 16,000 fans to compete for the 3,000 admission tickets. Before the start of the event, many groups of fans waited along the road, with the majority of the fans carrying placards and props in support of Jang Keun Suk. Upon questioning, the reporter found out that these fans did not get the ticket and specially came to catch a glimpse of their idol. It was estimated that there were 4,000 fans waiting outside.

Unfortunately, fantastic as they are, I’ve got to restrain myself, so they are not on my to-buy list at the moment… though I don’t mind waiting 1 to 2 years to see if the price will drop, haha~

KBOOM: Cri-J magazine promotional video

Updated 2 Mar, 10.25pm with English translation

This is a promotional video taken by Japanese magazine KBOOM, which is going to produce a series of four magazines dedicated solely to Jang Keun Suk and full of JKS news, pictures and information, on sale in Japan. And the first issue will be released on 10 April 2011.

I believe that the online order for the magazine has already closed sometime in February, and I cannot remember why I didn’t mention it … maybe it’s because of the steep price (corrected, 8400 yen or S$130 for 4 magazines).

[Personal] 2 Mar 2011 – Fight for JKS Singapore FM tickets!!

My ticket – seat number and serial number removed for security reasons 🙂

The fight among eels is on, and it’s indeed a very exciting fight!!

Sistic is so very punctual – 9 am means 9 am, even though I was hovering at the website since 8 am. I managed to get into their order selection process at 8.59 am and by 9.05 am when I completed my purchase for the maximum of 4 tickets, I got row P! If row A is the first row, then P is the 16th row!

Being very curious, I went back to Sistic and tried again for 1 to 2 seats at Level 1 Central block (the S$188 tickets). By 9.13 am, there were no more S$188 tickets (central block – best view) available.

What a FIERCE battle for tickets!
I was literally trembling with the excitement (and stress because of the 10-minute time frame to complete purchase), and I called staying up late to find out where the heck row P is before I confirmed my purchase.

But finally I got the tickets!
