The “Prince of Asia” has set his sights on some new territory. His agency decreed that Hallyu royalty wants a slice of the U.S. and European music market in 2013.

The all-round entertainer, who is immensely popular in Japan, is also set to increase his fan base in China next month when the popular TV show “You’re Beautiful” (2009) will begin airing.
Although already popular in Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, Jang’s agency said that “he wants to meet with his fans in the States and Europe, too.”
“In all ways through drama, music and various content, we’ll work to expand his territory,” said a representative from his agency.
At the moment, Jang is working on his next album in Korea. As a big fan of the electronic music genre, Jang is working toward making it mainstream through his contribution.
This year alone, Jang’s “The Cri Show 2” tour, which started on July 7, drew more than 115,000 fans. The Asian tour made stops in Shanghai; Taipei; Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka in Japan; as well as Seoul.

At the last stretch of his ongoing 2012 Jang Keun Suk The Cri Show 2, Jang Keun Suk is putting his all into the rehearsals for his final few concerts.

Jang Keun Suk’s Tree J Company revealed new behind-the-scenes pictures of the star during his rehearsals for his concert.

Having kicked off his concert tour in July, Jang Keun Suk’s tour has taken him through China, Japan, Taiwan in some eight different cities over the course of 13 performances. In total, his Asia tour is believed to have attracted some 123,000 with three performances left to be done in Saitama.

In addition to practicing his tracks, Jang Keun Suk has taken direct participation in everything from the stage design to the video. He has even brought in a crane to the concert to bring him closer to concert attendees on the second and third floors of his concerts.

His agency added, “Jang Keun Suk strives to show a new performance for his fans, some who have attended his concert multiple times and continues to surprise the staff with his new and creative ideas. Despite his busy and tiring schedule, he practices hard for all his rehearsals and puts a lot of concentration in all the minor details and his harmony with the dancers and staff.”

The final concerts of Jang Keun Suk’s tour will be held on November 26, 27 and 29 in Saitama.

Jang Keun Suk’s Korean fanclub Cri-J, having generated much news over JKS 20th debut anniversary advertisements on a Seoul subway train, once again launched a meaningful 926 charity initiative. To commemorate 26 September as JKS’ solar calendar birthday, fans donated 9.26 million won to Nam-san (charitable organisation) and at the same time, did volunteer work.

The 926 charity initiative started from Seoul Cri Show 2 on 7 July when Cri-J sought donations from fans, and by its end on 25 September, a total of 9.26 million won donations has been received from Korean and overseas fans.
