An international eels’ project that involves 23 fanclubs worldwide to celebrate Jang Keun Suk’s 20th debut anniversary has finally come to fruition in the form of an advertisement in the prestigious “International Herald Tribune (Global Edition The New York Times)” on 22 Dec 2012.

  30. I’m glad this project is a success. It seemed /looked impossible at first. It was a huge dream. But with eels’ dedication and hard work, nothing is impossible ! This is a huge success ! Thanks to the eels (you know who you are) who have beeen working so hard in making this possible and ofocurse to the eels who have contributed to this !   33. This is a project I will always remember & treasure as an eel as I witness how our eels friends over the world work together in a short period of time.. all the fanclub admins working in great coordination and high morale… with a common goal..

  36. I’ve been reading and following JKS for a while on a daily basis, he’s a really, really good actor and singer and showman; he’s so diverse…we are never bored.
    He stole my heart because he’s such easygoing, playfull, appreciative, down to earth and honest person.
    He knows what he wants and is prepared to work hard for it..and he’s really handsome : )
    I’m thankfull to my cri sisters & brothers all over the world for providing him such recognition for his 20th anniversary..he deserves it..(we made his “weak”point into his strongpoint..)
    I hope he’s ready because we are ready!!!!!

  37. Today’s ad has proven something to the world – our awesome World Prince has even more awesome eels. Even though I knew and was expecting the ad to appear today, I didnt expect to feel the overwhelming sense of “proudness” for our Prince and my fellow eels. It takes a really special man for so many people all over the world to come together to make this happen.

    Just a thought – has any other star in the world ever inspired his fans to put up a full-page ad in an international newspaper like eels did?

    This project might not mean anything to some people….but to EELs, it’s very important and meaningful event. This project shows EELs care and love JKS; we are united to support our beloved STAR, Jang Keun Suk, in embarking on to the New World, and also celebrate his longitivity of 20th years in ShowBiz. EELs promise to support and be with him for another 20th years and beyond!!!!

    This project was starting out with just a simple talk among eels; somehow, it becomes world class project with all the international FANCLUBs coming together. This project shows the power of eels!! You all did GREAT!!!! You all have sacrificed your time and money for the name of love for a special STAR. Sukkie is one lucky star to have fans like eels. EELs have shown him love in various actions and meaningful events all over the world.

I am so touched by this amazing love for you from your fans all over the world. I am a fan of you my Prince, though i am not part of this project i am still proud i am eel, doing the small things i can do to support you like voting for you in every poll eventhough i had such a hard time voting because i can’t read Korean or Chinese.
