Korean actor Jang Keun-suk hosts his self-produced pod cast “Zikzin Radio.” [Tree J Company]

Korean actor Jang Keun-suk’s self-produced pod cast has topped a Japanese pod cast chart.

Jang’s “Zikzin Radio” is grabbing noticeable attention from his fans worldwide, surpassing 500,000 accumulated downloads and grabbing No. 1 on Japanese pod cast chart’s art section, according to his promoter Y Tree Media on Thursday.

The radio show features stories about one subject sent from Jang’s fans around the world, which called themselves “eels,” and is possible to listen with Japanese subtitles on Jang’s official Japanese website.

Started with Jang’s pure idea, Jang proved one more time his skill at talking which enabled him as the youngest radio DJ back in 2004 on “Jang Keun-suk’s Young Street.”

Meanwhile, Jang’s upcoming TV drama “Pretty Boy” (translated title) is slated to premiere on KBS on November 20.
