His fans rice donation has broken the record for Korean drama press conference. Congratulations Actor Jang!
Feeling grateful, Jang Keun Suk admitted that his image was kept positive with the good deeds of his fans around the world.

On November 18, Jang Keun Suk participated in a press conference for KBS’ pretty Boy at the Imperial Palace located in Nonhyun-dong. Also present were IU, Lee Jang Woo, and Han Chae Young.

Speaking about all the rice wreaths set up at the location of the press conference, Jang Keun Suk shared that he heard about 13,500 kilograms of rice were delivered.

(Note: Actually the total rice donation is 16.36tons, see the picture. And Jangkeunsukforever.com and ECI’s rice wreath is 1ton, see link here RICE WREATH )

“I heard it was the biggest amount donated as a rice wreath event. It’s not just the Korean fans but also fans abroad that sent it, and I feel that my image has been kept positive because they prepare so many gifts,” said Jang Keun Suk.

In the drama, Jang Keun Suk plays Dokgo Matte, who carries good looks and overflowing charms. His goal is to seduce 10 ladies who are included in the top one percent of Korea.

Based on the comic book Pretty Boy by Cheon Gye Young, the story is about Dokgo Matte, who hopes to grow as a real ‘pretty boy’ by seducing women. Meanwhile, Kim Botong (IU) is a woman who only has eyes for Dokgo Matte, foreshadowing an unbalanced love story to unfold.

The drama script was written by Yoo Young Ah, who also wrote the screenplay for The Present in Room Seven. The drama will be directed by Jung Jung Hwa, who was in charge of Flower Boy Next Door and Flower Boy Ramen Shop.

The drama will air on November 20.
