[18 Jan 2011] JKS in Japan 张根硕日本拍摄 PV

On 18 Jan at 18:55 hours, Jang Keun Suk arrived at Japan Haneda airport.
News has it that he’ll be taking part in the filming of a Japanese singer’s promotion video, but it is not confirmed yet whether JKS is collaborating with Every Little Thing (ELT) or with Globe band led by reputed song producer Tetsuya Komuro, who at the peak of his career in the 1990s propelled many singers to fame, including Namie Amuro, but was later embroiled in a lawsuit.

1月18日下午6﹕55分﹐張根碩抵達日本羽田機場。
據說此行是為了參與某位歌手的 MV 拍攝﹐只是還不確定是小事樂團 (ELT) 或者是
小室樂隊。小室樂隊創辦人小室哲哉在90年代事業巔鋒期時捧紅很多歌手及歌曲﹐
包括安室奈美惠﹐不過後來捲入了官司。

Brief Translation

He introduces himself as Jang Keun Suk from Korea. When asked what he likes best in Thailand, JKS said he came for work and did not have much time for leisure. He went to a shopping centre but there were too many fans, so security asked him to leave.

He thanks fans for their warm welcome at the airport. He did buy a bag at the LV shop the day before; it was the only one of its kind in Thailand, and he feels very happy at his purchase. He jokes that he has to start eating instant noodles from that morning and he feels hungry!

JKS has been working without a break since 31 December, but he feels happy about eating delicious food in Thailand, such as somdum. Being a fun-loving guy, JKS jokes with the interviewer and makes fans laugh. He tells the interviewer she is cute, and then says that is a joke (!). After that, he says the whole thing is a joke (!).

JKS’ arrival in Guang-zhou, China, on 2 Jan 2011 at 5.10 pm caused quite a stir as expected. Over 400 fans have been waiting for him at the airport since morning. In the clip above, the railing was overturned and a few eels fell, but luckily no one was injured. JKS paused to see whether help was needed. On his way out of the airport, he blew kisses at fans and left in a car, with many fans in cars pursuing him!
