12 July 2011 – Popular Korean star Jang Keun Suk was in Hang-zhou two days ago for the recording of Zhe-jiang TV’s “I love memorizing lyrics”. When asked about the unstated Korean showbiz rules, JKS said tactfully, “What is seen and what is not seen both exist.”

With a planned album release in China in the later half of this year, JKS hopes that he can have a chance to study Chinese in Shanghai. Compared to other Korean artistes entering the Chinese market and participating in the filming of movies and dramas, JKS is different in that he is more cautious. “I feel that language communication is now my greatest obstacle.”

Sina Entertainment News – On 9 July, JKS will be holding his Cri Show at Shanghai Gymnastics Centre, the last stop in his overseas tour. On 8 July, JKS accepted Sina interview and revealed his plans to release an album in China in November 2011. When it comes to finding a challenging character, JKS will not take on any more pretty boy roles. As for his ideal girl criteria, JKS does not care about age but on whether she is easy to get along with.

Sina: Shanghai being the last station of Cri Show Asia Tour, any special thoughts about this? What have you prepared especially for the Shanghai fans?

JKS: Seoul is the last station for this entire Asia Tour, Shanghai is the last of the overseas countries, and will have the biggest stage..I have a lot of ideas for this show, want to know more? Please watch the show tomorrow

Sina: In Taipei, you claimed that Taiwan fans are your “brides”, how about fans in Shanghai & Beijing?

JKS: Taiwan eels wore wedding gowns at the airport, thus I called them my brides. No matter at which place, as long as there is someone waiting for me, I will let them be my women.

It’s about my business trip last weekend.
Departure from Haneda Airport, Saturday night.
The fare to Seoul is lower than that to my hometown, Kagoshima. So I just packed my things into a tote bag as if I was going to a domestic trip? No… because I had to take some equipment and clothes for this shooting trip. After 2 hours flight, I landed at Gimpo Airport. This is the hotel (JW Marriott Hotel Seoul) where I stayed.

On 8 July 2011 afternoon, JKS’ press conference, autograph and photo-taking session were organised as a private event at Hilton Hong-qiao, open only to the mass media and fans with autograph and photo-taking passes.

Being in China where Facebook and Youtube are banned, I don’t seem to see any articles on this yet, so perhaps we can tell the story from the news pics. Seems like fans presented JKS with yet another scrapbook, and an interesting red mailbox with postcards mailed to JKS.

[Personal note] In Shanghai!

Dear friends,

Since a hectic Wed 6 July when I left for Shanghai after a busy day of work and last-minute speed packing, I haven’t been able to access internet for the past 2 days. The good news for me as a first-time visitor to Shanghai is that I actually got to see more of Shanghai than JKS this time round 😀

As an eel, that’s bad news, of course.

Due to travelling inconveniences and the slow internet speed, blog updates may be less frequent and timely (Poor daydreaming, previously known as Chicken Little, has to bear with all of my travelling quirks and my incessant “I want the internet” ;p )

Thankfully, I think most of you have other sources to get our Prince’s information too ^^

So my apologies and do forgive my tardiness during my Shanghai trip.
Will be back in Singapore on Mon 11 July but expected to be busy for a couple of days more ….
