I thought the female lead selection will only be announced at “You’re My Pet” press conference in Japan in early March, but according to news, Han Ye-seul will be the female lead.
I’ve not seen her act before, but she’s pretty and has won several awards, so she should be quite good. Anyway, I don’t really bother about who the female lead is, as I’ll only have eyes for one person 🙂
Seo Ji-seok is also confirmed for a role in the movie.

I waited for the English subs to come out. Either I missed it, or it didn’t, so I subbed it myself because this is a really great interview where I am smitten all over again by Jang Keun Suk (he always does that to me…).
His voice is so gentle, he’s modest and he’s always making others laugh. I love his laughter! And he’s so spontaneous, wanting to check out his body proportion though it wasn’t in the programme, and taking a dig at himself when his body proportion was less than what he estimated.
And when the ahjumma winner of the game was interviewed and asked what JKS’ charm was, I was very, very happy at her answer – what an apt description of JKS! All eels have very good taste in liking our JKS 🙂

Omo~ my goodness!!!!!! Jang Keun Suk and his friend (is that Big Brother Kurt?) at a spa for men. JKS shared with eels on his website that he is spending the New Year break with family, friends and dog Sunni at a skiing resort. It’s great that JKS gets to enjoy the festive holidays with family and friends, and he doesn’t forget to share, er, delicious updates of what he’s doing ….
The original Tweet says that it’s a spa for men / “couple”. Did I understand that wrongly? Or perhaps friends can also make use of the couple spa? 🙂

In Japanese duo Every Little Thing’s (ELT) new album release on 23 Feb 2011, Jang Keun Suk, who has gained much popularity from the Korean drama “You Are Beautiful” (YAB), will appear in the MV of their new song “Star and Moon”.
This is JKS’ first time acting in a MV and the first time displaying his acting skill in a Japanese production. And this wonderful collaboration stems from lead singer Kaori Mochida’s (aged 32) fascination with JKS. Having watched YAB and other JKS dramas, Kaori Mochida was very touched by his acting skills and performance. Hence, at the end of last year, Kaori Mochida travelled personally to Korea to engage in discussions with JKS. Touched by Kaori Mochida’s sincerity and ELT’s music, JKS agreed without hesitation.
Filmed in late January in Tokyo, the MV comprises two separate video clips of a romantic love story, with “Star” depicting a woman’s perspective and “Moon” from the perspective of a man. If one does not watch both videos, one will not be able to gain complete understanding.

No translation yet, this is just for us to catch a glimpse of Jang Keun Suk at work. The guy simply oozes charm, not to mention he’s fun and spontaneous. At around 01:55 mins, JKS was interrupted in his photo shoot by one staff because he wore, by mistake, the pants meant for the lady model!! He’s so slim that he can fit into it!

These are what Jang Keun Suk said during his 29 Jan events, and what we hear from people who were there.
1. JKS will be recording his new music album from 31 Jan onwards, and he sang a line from his new song.
2. JKS said that he had wanted to produce an album earlier, but generally Korean music producers tend not to give very good songs to actors, and he had actually been in touch with many music producers before to ask for their help, but it was very difficult until he met the music producer of “Marry me Mary” (M3). JKS felt that he must grab the opportunity to collaborate with this music producer.
[Me: Don’t understand which record company / music producer would want to pass up the chance to collaborate with JKS whose star power almost guarantees good album sales?]
What an extremely busy blogging night!
Unfortunately, the online broadcast was a complete let-down. The website was totally inaccessible and I only know of one eel who managed to watch it online. Guess I won’t be trying to watch online broadcasts again. The lesson to learn is, it is still better to buy the original FM DVD to support our Keun-Suk oppa 🙂
