The long New Year break for the Chinese and Koreans is over. Many will be returning to work or school on 7 Feb, and so will Jang Keun Suk as he resumes his hectic schedule. Possibly, JKS has returned to Seoul on Sunday 6th as Lee Hong-ki tweeted to thank JKS for joining his birthday celebration.

To relieve the usual Monday blues (I start having them on Sunday night), here’s a video of a younger Jang Keun Suk, again, as always, with his cheerful smile to sustain us over the week ahead.

I usually don’t watch JKS’ works that are earlier than Hwang Jin-I (and I didn’t watch Hwang Jin-I too). Being addicted to a young man like JKS now is one thing; ogling at a teenaged version of JKS must be illegal – I feel like a paedophile or something. But owing to JKS’ absence of news these few days, some fan sites have started circulating his old videos and I came across this – his signature bright cheery smile that has always been there since his younger days.

Jang Keun Suk is so cute, he’s such a sweet talker 🙂
And as happy as a child when fans said he’s more handsome than Hong-ki. And seeing him raise his hand to reveal a secret, just like a child’s behaviour. Sigh, what a cute boy…

Yes!! After a long painstaking, teeth-gnashing process (with much cursing and swearing) and also thanks to a friend who provided much useful advice, I finally learned how to subtitle!!!

Here are my first attempts subtitling the Beijing FM.
JKS does not have a DVD out for Beijing FM, right? So it means I can subtitle his interview segment and post them?

Actually, I’m quite worried that if Jang Keun Suk ever comes to visit my blog (of course I know it won’t happen, but I’m still worried), he may sue me for all sorts of copyright infringement… … His Yokohama fan-meeting “Where is Your Star” DVD will be released on 25 March 2011. It should be a Region 2 DVD. The online purchase website (below if you are interested) is partially in English but may be difficult to navigate, and I’m not able to provide any guide.

JKS sang 7 songs at the FM – Baidusukbar has posted a several-minutes segment of it in restricted access mode to their members for promotional purposes, and another post in sukbar has actually posted all 7 songs in full, claiming that they are taken from a Korean fan website. So then I decide to post just one song here (erm, can I say it’s for promotional purpose too?).

[News] JKS in ELT MV “STAR” and “MOON”

In Japanese duo Every Little Thing’s (ELT) new album release on 23 Feb 2011, Jang Keun Suk, who has gained much popularity from the Korean drama “You Are Beautiful” (YAB), will appear in the MV of their new song “Star and Moon”.

This is JKS’ first time acting in a MV and the first time displaying his acting skill in a Japanese production. And this wonderful collaboration stems from lead singer Kaori Mochida’s (aged 32) fascination with JKS. Having watched YAB and other JKS dramas, Kaori Mochida was very touched by his acting skills and performance. Hence, at the end of last year, Kaori Mochida travelled personally to Korea to engage in discussions with JKS. Touched by Kaori Mochida’s sincerity and ELT’s music, JKS agreed without hesitation.

Filmed in late January in Tokyo, the MV comprises two separate video clips of a romantic love story, with “Star” depicting a woman’s perspective and “Moon” from the perspective of a man. If one does not watch both videos, one will not be able to gain complete understanding.

No translation yet, this is just for us to catch a glimpse of Jang Keun Suk at work. The guy simply oozes charm, not to mention he’s fun and spontaneous. At around 01:55 mins, JKS was interrupted in his photo shoot by one staff because he wore, by mistake, the pants meant for the lady model!! He’s so slim that he can fit into it!
