[OSEN=Oh Min-hee] Actor Jang Keun-suk was worth his name. He made the cartoon character Dok Go-mate come to live with his superior visual and acting talent.
KBS 2TV ‘Pretty Boy'(writer Yoo Young-ah, director Lee Jae-sang, Jung Jung-hwa) starring Jang Keun-suk and IU was aired on 20th afternoon for the first time. Jang Keun-suk showed gooey love scene with millionaire Jack-hee(So Eu-jene) this day and garnered attention. He seduced Jack-hee who repetitively claims “so sexy” and cleverly accepts the car and house she gives.
Jang Keun-suk made the female viewers’ heart flutter with his flawless looks and deadly charms which he knows how to use well. As he is a already experienced flower boy from his previous works like ‘You’re Beautiful’ and ‘You’re My Pet’ he was not at all awkward.
He plays innocent by eating ribs but calling himself a vegetarian, and says to his mom who tries to prepare him snacks, “Calories a re to high. I will gain weight.” which is a parody of ‘Gag Concert’ in-word, mesmerizing everyone.
‘Pretty Boy’ is based on Chun Kye-young’s cartoon. Dok Go-mate, who is handsome enough to be the national’s treasure, will be encountering 10 successful women in their super class and learn their know hows for his success.
The crucial point of this drama was how well will the ‘Asia prince’ Jang Keun-suk perform the deadly charming character. From the beginning he showed off his perfect match with Dok Go-mate character, raising high expectations.

Oh my god, he might have a brain in there too! The title in actuality is insulting but considering the source we’ll take it as a compliment.
OMG….My initial thought, Dokgo MaTe is a male gold digger. I was soooo worry about I would not be able to love this type of character.
After watching BM 2nd Episode, I started to change my original thoughts. I start to fall for his character, not the seducer of women, mind you, but the determination man character and the strong desire to success…and willing to do what is take to complete his mission.
That’s right!!!! Dokgo MaTe has missions, and he will use his GOD GIVEN gift to achieve his GOALs…by seducing powerful women to gain wisdom and knowledge, so be it..!
Yeahh….Jang Keun Suk is so BRAVE enough Actor to play such a “fine line” character like Dokgo MaTe. I can not think of any ACTOR would be able to play Dokgo MaTe and do justice to the character.
Normally, Dramas like to use Beautiful Female character to seduce the powerful men to gain her the wisdom or material wealth. Using male version for this role….I find Beautiful Man drama very interesting now. I’m totally addictive!!!
I am soooo curious how would Dokgo MaTe complete his missions!!!
