Actor Jang Geun-seok is doing some more good deeds. He has a reputation for continuous charity work to society and this time, he’s backing the medical finances of Mongolian children with ovarian cancer.

Two Mongolian children of ages 17 were diagnosed with sex cord-stromal tumor and went under surgery last year but that developed into ovarian cancer. They couldn’t even dream of getting treatment due to poor medical conditions in Mongolia and their family circumstances but Jang Geun-seok decided to support them.

He’s been aiding them with medical check-ups, hospitalization and anti-cancer treatments in Korea. One of the teens will be making four visits to Korea until May and getting the right treatment.

The teen said, “I was in despair after I heard my condition but thanks to Jang Geun-seok, I am able to recover. Thank you to everyone involved including Jang Geun-seok”.

Jang Geun-seok said, “I was upset upon hearing about them but now I am so happy the surgery went well. I hope they hold out to the anticancer treatments thinking about their families. I will continue supporting national and international people who need my help”.

Jang Geun-seok started aiding international children with World Vision since 2009. He’s currently responsible for 100 or so children and their health. He invited 80 vulnerable social children to his concert in 2010 and presented them with a good time. In 2011, he sent donations to Vietnam for drinking water, educational support and 1 ton of rice to Africa in 2013 and 2014 and more educational support in Bangladesh in 2015.

Even his fans have been influenced by his good deeds have been making donations in celebration of his birthday every year.

Meanwhile, World Star Jang Geun-seok started his fan meeting in Osaka, Japan on the 14th of March and it will continue onto Tokyo, Fukuoka and Nagoya in April.
