  2. The “wedding cake” song by twin folio was played in Love Rain also, I think so.. Suk is wholely promoting Korea tourism in Candy.. There r many things to praise for this show, the editing, all Korean old and new songs played in every ep, camera movements, all tags written on the screen r simply awesome..specially every song sounds too good..Team work is daebak.

    In this ep he gave us all her costars as options but on Guru Show he mentioned she was one among BOA, Park Shin Hye n Moon.. so it must b PSH or MGY.. really rooting for PSH.. O Prince, if u liked someone soooo much why didn’t u confess???

    • I think is MGY coz he said that after the drama end untill now they didn’t see each other. Unlike PSH they shoot many cf after the drama ends.

        But Suk knows Moon from childhood, right??? But since he mentioned this topic in Guru Show also, it must be someone among PSH or MGY.. Hope Candy may find it out today..

    Which costar is so special to Asia Prince Jang keun suk’s heart? I think YOONA (love rain,2012).

    Jang keun suk’s kiss so full passionate with Yoona. their kiss also so deep. their kiss scene near the window in the last episode in love rain was so passionate and REAL. i was able to feel their deep feelings and emotions. Love rain was so beautiful kdrama, their visual so attractives, they also were the prettiest couple of kdramas for me.

    it would be nice if our Jang Keun Suk and Yoona get married, their babies will be so pretty and cute, they could be a happy family

  10. I think the actress in his heart is either MGY or PSH. He always said his ideal is femaine type with long curly hair. That’s the hair style MGY had in ‘Mary stay out all night’. and they just like real lovers in the drama. The kiss scene is so touching.
    But whoever she is, it is already 6-7 years ago. I feel sorry for him. Why not confess at that time?

  11. I think the co-actress he talk about is moon geun young. It is because so many things are relatable especially drama ‘mary stayed out all night’.
    I don’t espect that he still remember that drama. And the half real kiss?

  13. I’m going out on a limb here but I think the actress he is referring to is My Pet’s Kim ha-neul. He did not confess probably because he was intimated by her since she is a bit older than him. And I suspect that he didn’ feel corresponded by her. Our Prince also said that she was good to him while filming; he wouldn’ said that about someone his same age.

  16. Suk really makes us think hard to guess the identity of the actress LOL!
    Luckily, he gave some hints.. in his own words:
    1. Treated me really well.
    2. The kiss scene was filmed full of passion, including my own feelings.
    3. We have never met after filming.

    MGY knitted a pair of woollen gloves for Suk during the filming of MSOAN in winter, and if I’m not mistaken, those gloves were worn by Kang Mugyeol.

    Passionate kissing scenes: the fountain kiss, and the kiss at the end of the final episode in Love Rain; the alley kiss in MSOAN; the kiss in You Are My Pet

    After filming, he did meet up with Kim Ha Neul, Yoona and MGY, but only for their respective movie/drama promotions and fan meeting, which are work-related.

    On the other hand, he and PSH had several projects together, namely Tongyi Juice CF, Lotte Duty Free CF series ‘Dream Journey in Jeju’ and Tongyi C-Girl Pageant, all in 2014. Besides that, they keep in touch and follow each other on twitter; he had dinner at her mother’s restaurant; in an old interview, he said he met PSH at the airport and had a drink together before departing for their respective destination.

    My guess is that the actress is either Yoona or MGY, but certainly not PSH. Regardless of who she is, I’m looking forward to Suk’s thrilling adventure on the Nami Skyline ZipWire in Ep. 10 tonight~!!

    This chapter is really charming. I am going to write my opinion about this chapter. It is only my personal opinion and cannot represent the reality.

    I think that the co-actress to whom it refers is Park Shin Hye. And I permit to do this affirmation, under an essential beginning: ” we can lie with the words, but to never be able lie with the expressions of our body “. And JKS cannot pretend when it is together with PSH. His look when the gun-sight or it hears speaking to her about her is absolutely different and special. When they are united they cannot avoid touch. The treatment of him towards her and the treatment from her towards him is completely different from the treatment that they offer to his other companions of work. Only it is enough to see them behind scenes of the drama “You’re Beautiful”, since they look like boyfriends or friends very, very nearby. We do not see this nearness in any other drama with any other companion or companion of work. In addition, it is not a common nearness in Korea for being a very conservative country.

    According to my opinion, in the scene of the kiss of the cinema, JKS was nervous enough (thing that has not happened in his other scenes of kisses) .Los kisses were very royal and they were obvious very concentrated.     • Sis, completely agree with u.. actually after ep 9, I watched all the BTS of YAB again n again.. They look too good together n so friendly that I get very jealous when PSH is shipped with other co stars.. Always feels like She is our Prince’s lady only. Kkkkk… Ur long explanation seems like a love story.. enjoyed it.

  18. I, truly had fun reading the views of -eels with regard to the controversial and definitely lucky lady whom JKS fell for but really did not admit ‘til date. Knowing that this episode ended on this specific topic, it makes me anxiously wait for the next segment to air.

    When candy raised this topic, my initial reaction was “omo!! Thank you for asking that! This must be the continuation of the interesting question asked that was not dig much during the 2011 Knee-Drop Guru guesting of JKS”

    In Knee-Drop Guru, three personalities where indirectly mentioned: Boa, Park Shin Hye and Moon Geun Young and JKS admitted that he had liked someone among the three mentioned. Then, in this episode, he again said that he was once interested in one of his co-actresses. Having said the same statement last 2011 and 2016, I guess it also revolves among these three personalities 🙂

    In my personal opinion, before, I think it was PSH. But, for the past few days (I admit, really affected on this and contemplating day by day on who might be the person he fell for haha) I just suddenly thought of MGY due to the following points mentioned in My Ear’s Candy:
    – Treated him well
    (It seems that they really had a good collaboration together and both created good, happy and fun atmosphere in the set based on behind the scenes clip I watched 🙂 and also given the similarities they share)

    – He might have pre-fixed image of MGY but there’s something he saw behind those conceptions
    (There’s this interview that I read online cannot remember where but a good eel translated it to English  JKS was surprised with the personality of MGY. He stated that MGY has a strong side which is opposite to her role in MMM. She is also a girl that motivates and gives strength to the people around her)

    I think for MGY, just like JKS, the more you learn about the person, the more you will appreciate her. To be honest, at first, I did not see the compatibility of JKS and MGY in Mary Stayed All Night. But as the story goes by, MGY earned my appreciation towards her and I really find it cute when they’re together :))

    – Kiss
    (I must say, compared to YAB, JKS delivered a more passionate kissing scene in MMM especially on its 8th Episode, where their hands were both in cuffs. I am not sure if it is from the article I read or from the video I watched [just cannot remember where] but during that kissing scene take, JKS is worried as it might be too rough and might not be suitable to the viewers)

    – Did not express himself to the point that the woman might not know as well.
    (Even for joking purposes only, I think JKS did not declare any)

    – Never met after filming?
    (I think except for the awards night)

    I also cannot forget the look made by JKS towards MGY while she is delivering her acceptance speech in 2010 KBS Awards Night. That innocent, genuine and proudness look towards his friend that reflects in his eyes is really admirable 🙂

    To tell the truth, I am not a GeunGeun Shipper haha more of PSH and JKS  really just thought of it at some point 🙂

    Nevertheless, on the forthcoming Episode 10, I hope there would be more clues to reveal. But, on the back of my mind it seems like JKS will not divulge any more information about this forever 🙂 🙂 🙂

    Regardless, whoever she may be, I really wish that JKS will find his eternal joy with someone 🙂 and will definitely support him and be happy for him on that day when it comes 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Dear eel, I coincide with you with many of the exposed points, but also I differ in others.

      JKS has not changed in anything his history from 2011, when he said in the television program that the co-actress that he liked was between Boa, Park Shin Hye and Moon Geun Young. I think that it is Park Shin Hye (I expose the reasons in a post more above). I think that today in the chapter 10 he said that he and the girl ” have not been from the end of the recording ” only to confuse. Let’s remember that to our JKS he likes the play on words.

      I coincide with you with that the JKS’s best kiss on screen has been with Moon Geun Young. But the best royal and passionate kisses are with Park Shin Hye in behind chambers of the kiss in the cinema in ” You`re Beautiful “. I never returned to see a few JKS’s so royal kisses in other one of his dramas or movies. In addition there proves to be slightly nervous in scene, which is very unusual in him. Ultimately the director chose to show on screen the last kiss and the least passionate, I suppose because Go My Nam was not experienced like to show a kiss so carried away as those that they recorded before the kiss chosen by the director.

      In another scene of kiss between JKS and Park Shin Hye, while they test the scene JKS it gives royal kisses to Park Shin Hye still when they were not in the script. She only laughs and he also. The complicity is evident.

      The relation of JKS and Moon Geun Young is seen by me more like of brothers who know themselves from the infancy. I never noticed an attitude or a look that was showing more than it. Everything opposite of what happens with Park Shin Hye; the looks, the complicity, the interest of one for other one, the physical contact between both, his so narrow friendship, etc. It is not a thing that one sees every day.

      In my previous post I forgot to mention that when JKS had his concert in the Tokyo Dome He Tames and invited Park Shin Hye and they sang the song ” Still as ever”, to the moment to sing ” your hot eyes and your hot heart they make you demolish high place in my heart ” JKS embraces Park Shin Hye and she is surprised because this scene was not planned.

      Certainly, JKS placed this song with Park shin Hye as bottom on having closed all his concerts “Endless Summer” this year 2016. Maybe it is a very special song for him.

      They are many details that make me think that it is she, but ultimately they are alone suppositions. Probably we will never know the one who was the lucky one.

Thank you so much for the points you’ve raised 🙂 really, enjoyed reading those 🙂 In my mind, it is a battle between PSH and MGY to be honest 🙂 but rooting more with PSH :)))) when it comes to sweetness, there are really more points to PSH especially on the BTS in YAB.. After that controversial statement of JKS in this episode, I immediately re-watch all the BTS between JKS and PSH in YAB and also, BTS in MMM 🙂 sweetness to PSH is really very evident + their exchange tweets before, interviews, articles, their parents’ view to one another etc.

        Just at that moment when I posted my comment here, I have just thought of MGY :)) and I agree with your last statement, I think we will really never know who’s that lucky one haha!! 🙂

    • Sis, JKS has never said that it should see Park Shin Hye as to a minor sister. On the other hand, yes he has said that Park Shin Hye is the only celebrity that is his ” ideal type “, between all the celebrities of Korea 😉

      The friendship between JKS and MGY is long, since both know themselves since both were children actors. JKS has said that it admires her as professional. In fact, for being friends from the infancy, the scene of kiss could that it has turned out to be a bit inconvinient for them. I think that his fondness is fraternal.

      On Yoona, I think that he has never said or fact anything that it should demonstrate a romantic interest in her.

      It is my personal appraisal and can that it does not represent the reality 😉

    And, I personally believe and hope the former co-star that Mr. Jang liked so much was Ms. Kim Ha-neul. Because their chemistry was great and intimate in YAMP and I don’t find them in any project together after that movie’s premiere. Also, their kissing scene was absolutely passionate and lovely.
