In a recent interview with local celebrity magazine Star1, actor Jang Geun Suk shares his thoughts on the remaining and eliminated trainees appearing on Mnet‘s girl group survival show “Produce 101.”
As the show’s host, he has closely followed the 101 contestants’ ups and downs on the show. When asked what is the main difference between the eliminated and remaining trainees, he says it comes down to one important factor. “There’s no big difference. It’s just the timing that sets them apart.”
“Opportunities cannot be provided equally and at the same time. Timing has been excellent for the survived trainees, and those who were eliminated will eventually have their moments.”
Regarding similarities between him and the trainees, the star says, “Even after becoming an actor, I’m constantly waiting for something. Just like them, I’m waiting for good projects and people’s evaluation of me. I sympathize with them a lot.”
Meanwhile, Jang Geun Suk is starring in the upcoming SBS drama “Daebak” set to premiere on March 28.
