JKS deserves the title. He has played in two musicals at a fairly young age. He not only releases his solo CD, but also team H’s CDs. Is there any other K-actor who can do this?
so proud of Sukkie as I would have chosen him as #1 too as his voice in acting and singing are one of the reasons why I find unique among many actors… not only in Korea. Not only Suk can sing well, he can sing many types of songs well.. ballad, rock, pop, rap and electronic.. and singing comes with stage presence and that is why many of us love to see and hear him singing live.. he sings so much with emotion on live stage and many of us who went to his live concerts feel the emotion & charm.. and we always feel his live singing is better than his recorded album in this way.

mamacri, you might be right on your analysis about general Koreans’ reactions or feelings toward Sukkie. Your post reminds me of one of the Korean eels who came to visit our site in the past. She stated almost the same things as you do. She explained that in fact a lot of Koreans like Sukkie and always support him secretly. Whatever reasons, they just couldn’t claim being Sukkie’s eels in public, back then, couple years ago.
Since I watched sooo many Korean eels publicly show support in many major events for Sukkie, I would assume some people open up and learn to appreciate the NEW and still respect the old ways.
He is well deserved to this title. Everyone knows, even the people who doesn’t like his unique style and personality can not deny that he has talent to sing. His voice, his performance is just a super star. I’m very glad about this.
