[OSEN=Yoon Ga-yi] Jang Keun-suk’s global fans sent grand scale wreaths for KBS Wed/Thur drama ‘Pretty Boy’ premier. A sew of wreaths formed a maze and garnered attention.

To celebrate Jang Keun-suk’s one year gap return on screen, fans from all over the world including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Chile, Malaysia, Columbia, and Argentina sent endless wreaths, displaying his dignity as world prince.

On this day event, various wreaths arrived from his fans, making it hard for people to pass by. The displayed wreaths weighed up to 16.66 ton. Actually the wreaths consist of eggs, diapers, milk powder, and various other products which garnered attention. Such various products were donated within the wreath form.

Also, Jang Keun-suk’s Japanese fans sent millions of folded-paper crane to make there wish for ‘Pretty Boy’ success. These showed his fans’ infinite love.

Especially, rice wreaths were donated for the neighbors in need such as senior citizens who live alone and child shelters. The amount of gathered rice wreaths were more than enough to handle 130 thousand people’s meal. Moreover, in the rice donation ceremony held by ‘Rice Donation with Love Movement Headquarters Central Association’ last Nov.21, Jang Keun-suk’s ‘2012 Cri Show’ won excellence award which donated one on of rice. His fans are certainly setting an example for the heartwarming donating culture.

Meanwhile, Jang Keun-suk’s fans started the culture of rice wreath support even before such trend has been settled down in 2010. Recently, not only do they give out rice wreaths but also his fans held ‘2013 Jang Keun-suk’s birthday photo exhibition share’ to celebrate his 27th birthday. The whole profits earned in this event were donated. As so, his fans are setting a matured fan culture.

Jang Keun-suk is starring in KBS ‘Pretty Boy’ as the world most handsome devil looking Dok Go-mate captivating every women’s heart. The drama looking forward to Dok Go-mate’s success story episode 3 will be aired tomorrow night at 10PM.

  2. I must admit I did not understand anything about the rice wreaths before knowing JKS, and understanding it totally blew me off! So magnanimous of the people who created this practice to show generosity and at the same time show support for the drama – and if they are indeed eels, just wow! hats off to everyone involved!
