Jang Kun Seouk becomes the first domestic university ‘Sharing Professor’, giving a special speech. On 20th afternoon, appointment ceremony was held at his alma mater, Intercontinental hotel in Samsung-Dong, Seoul.

Jang has been continuously involved in performing good deeds and encouraging donation culture. He raised his name in the hall of honours for his development funds. He showed his affection towards his alma mater, even ‘Jang Keun Seouk Scholarship’ was founded.

Previously, when graduating, he donated 1.2 million won. Hanyang University appointed Jang Keun Suk as ‘Share Professor’ to appreciate his great contribution.

This semester, Jang Keun Suk will commence his special lecture, ‘Philanthropy’ which will be allocated as one of elective units. He will be passing his experience of sharing and volunteering to students. To spread such ‘share culture’, appointment of share professor never happened before, which differentiated Hanyang University among a number of universities in S.Korea.

Someone with JKS said, “As great of an opportunity it is to be with students, he is diligently preparing for his lecture to be able to relate with his students.”

Along with JKS former CEO of Samsung, Director of One Heart hospital, etc. 6 total VIP people were appointed to give lectures.

Today I woke up late, I stayed until two o’clock in the morning studying a new course that I am doing, I did not want to wake up and it was already 9 am, until it comes a message from my friend showing me this news, literally I jumped from the bed! How not to love you to the bone, if we full of emotions every day !, How not love irrationally if the pride does not fit me in the chest! You’re the best, always, always You !!!

  10. The fact that he has feels the need to ‘give back’ to society is something I admire enormously – and I love how he’s beaming in these photos! I’d also love to be a fly on the wall at his lectures 🙂

    • @naZ when I saw his tweet this morning I was thinking the same way. Just embarrassed to respond to his tweet with this comment. 🙂 Im thinking should I enroll myself to his class?! Hmmmm… Awesome marketing for Hanyang. Go JKS!
