At first I had given up to attend YMP fan meeting held in Osaka on Feb. 11, but luckily this event was decided to be broadcast live to 52 movie theaters throughout Japan. So it was my first fan account to watch the FM through screen, far away from the venue.

To tell the conclusion first, it was much greater experience than I expected to watch it in the movie theater. Because even if I had attended the event, I wouldn’t have watched Sukkie by naked eyes. I enjoyed his close-up in the big screen. It’s like watching his live DVD at the theater, but it was truly a live show!!! I’m not sure it was broadcast to the theater, the picture is not like TV, but movies. I mean the tone of the picture wasn’t like a live TV show, but a movie. So at first I had a funny feeling as if I had watched VTR, but later I was really into the show that I totally forgot the feeling.

Before telling the event, I explained the theater I joined. It seats about 400. I think about 300 people joined the event there. But I heard some movie theater located in the center of Tokyo reached the capacity soon after the tickets began to be sold. Anyway, I seated myself in one of the best, I-14 (yellow mark).

I don’t know how many people joined the event from theaters, but the number of the audience at Kyocera Dome is reported 27,000. So more than 30,000 people must have enjoyed it live 🙂

Let’s go back to the subject.

From the beginning, my eyes were caught by beautiful fountain show. Many water spouts came out the stage. And throughout the show, fountain was used effectively. I think it’s because the fountain scene in YMP is important for changing the relation between Momo and Eun. Moreover it’s so romantic to see illuminated fountain!

Our expectation reached the climax, YMP cast appeared from the back of the venue, riding a big car!

After they reached the main stage, each cast said hello to the audience. As soon as Sukkie uttered one word, we realized his throat was still not good. His voice was hoarse… 🙁 But he looked he didn’t care about it and entertained us cheerfully. Besides, he was kind enough to greet viewers at theaters. “Hi, the audience over there. Can you hear me? Let’s enjoy together!”

He put on red leather jacket. I wonder if it was the same one he wore at M3 FM last August. What do you think? Just the same color?

As Sukkie performed first, he had to go off the stage first. He pretended to cry, when leaving. It’s one of his favorite jokes lately.

He sang “Hey Girl” in Japanese. The audience sang along with him at the part of “Hey girl”.

After singing, he confessed that he forgot some part of lylics shyly. Then he suddenly said about the title of the song. “The title is ‘Hey Girl’ but I think there are many gals, not girls here. But I have my owner… to be honest, I like eels better…” This event was not his FM, so Sukkie didn’t speak to the audience as his eels. This part was only exception, but he spoke to himself, not to the audience.

Then his owner, Kim Ha-neul appeared on the stage and sang “I only look at you”.

After singing, Sukkie spoke to some backup dancers. Look at the picture below. The dancer had to pose like a pet. I think keeping the pose was too tough after dancing hard. So they sweated and made their face not smile. So Sukkie asked them, “Please smile ^^” It was so funny. Lol.

After that other cast sang songs solo. Kim Ha-neul played a guitar, singing. Ryu Tae Joon sang Japanese song, “Friend by Koji Tamaki”. All of us didn’t expect he sang Japanese song and it was very good. Kang HaNeul is also a good singer because he’s famous in musical world. So I enjoyed not only Sukkie’s singing but other’s singing!

Then Sukkie appeared on the central stage, riding a bicycle. Spouting water decorated the stage like the fauntain park in YMP. Different from the bicycle he rode at Tokyo Dome, it was a regular bicycle. Sukkie said, “The last time I rode a bike was at Tokyo Dome. But it was an electric one. So this time it’s so hard!!!” Then he asked the audience to practice to be a pet. The audience tried to say, “Ruff-ruff” in chorus, but he wasn’t satisfied with the voice volume and made them practice several times. Lol.

There was a big blue box on the main stage. Sukkie got in it and asked the audience, “It’s your turn to be my owner. Please call me Momo!”

When we called him, he jumped out of the box. He looked he liked this, so he asked the audience to play it once again. We called him Momo, then he jumped out of it, putting on dog ear’s band. And the owner appeared on the stage, putting on big ribbon and sang together “You’re my lovely pet” in Japanese.

Suddenly Ryu Tae Joon who hadn’t been convinced by the ending of YMP presented a challenge to Sukkie! He claimed that he is more appropriate as Eun’s pet. So before the event, Tae Joon had built up his body to beat Sukkie. On the other hand, Sukkie was lying on a sofa, reading magazines. He showed relaxed smile and said, “I don’t have to practice”. But Ha-neul analyzed Sukkie that he was truly a hard worker behind the scenes. Lol. She knew Sukkie well!!!

Then Tae Joon and Sukkie faced off with performance. Tae Joon showed us beating a big drum. His powerful performance was so emotional and manly. After the performance, he said to Ha-neul, “I put on all my heart into Eun”. Then it was Sukkie’s turn. He appeared from the bottom of the stage, lying on his side. I was fascinated by him in a moment! He totally changed his hairstyle and costume. He knew what we love! He looked soooooo cool although he didn’t feel well. His looks reminded me of Lounge H which I love the most.

He performed some magics such as birds from balloons. At last Sukkie used a stuffed dog. He put it in the box and cast a spell… then it chanaged into a woman wearing a dog costume. Both performance ended, so Kim Ha-neul had to decide which the winner was. Sukkie cast the spell to her, “I can control everything (your decision)”. But the result was… draw. Sukkie was so shocked to hear the result, saying “Why not me? I did practice a lot… :(” Then he cast a spell again, “You’ll become my eel”. Lol.

Then talk session started. MC asked all the cast what the most impressive scene was for you. Ha-neul answered, “The shampoo scene was good to release my stress”. Hearing her answer, Sukkie said, “As you know, I’m super-S, but she is super-duper-duper-S!!!” Then MC asked her, “How did you feel JKS’ head?” Ha-neul answered, “It’s like a dog”. Then Sukkie retorted, “I’m not a dog! I’m a human!!!” Ha-neul replied it, “He’s like a naughty dog ^^” Sukkie murmured, “As I said, she is truly a super-duper-duper-S!!!”

Kang HaNeul said that he liked the jogging scene with Sukkie at a park. He revelaed the fact that he and Sukkie enjoyed talking not related to the movie at all while jogging. So when their back was shot, they laughed loud. Please check their jogging scene, imaging their smile faces 😛

The last kiss scene was introduced as Sukkie’s favorite, but he claimed that it was not his choice. Lol. MC asked Ha-neul, “You’re the only person who kissed JKS and knew how his lips are like. Would you tell us how you felt his lips?” She was confused how to answer. Then Sukkie gave her a clue, “Say it was sweet! Sweet! Amakatta! (in Japanese)” She was forced to say the word. And Sukkie looked satisfied with the answer, “Yes, it’s true”. Lol.

The next question. “What do you think other co-cast most resemble?” They had to describe it drawing the image.

Ryu Tae Joon drew Kim Ha-neul as a panda. Kim Ha-neul drew Kang HaNeul as a hamster. JKS drew Jeon Yu-mi as an asterid. Jeon Yu-mi drew Ryu Tae Joon as a monkey. Kang HaNeul drew JKS as a cat. He drew the cat in close-up, saying “JKS is keen-eyed. I think it’s one of his charm”.

Then except Sukkie, other cast got off the stage. He said to the audience, “I’ve been sick these days, so I was afraid to come here for today. But I feel better, enjoying the stage with you”. And he smiled 😉

He was asked, “If you become the owner, what should you do to the pet?” He answered, “I’ll take a shower together”. Then he was asked about Suni. “I had experienced washing my car with her, but not exactly taken a shower with her. Suni went to school for dogs and returned home about two weeks ago. But she has still acted foolishly. It was a big problem, and my parents and I was talking about how we should do next”.

After Jeon Yu-mi’s performance, Sukkie and Ha-neul appeared from the back of the venue. This time Sukkie asked Tae Joon to face off again. The next battle was “declaration my love to Eun in Japanese”. It should be given in Japanese, so Sukkie looked relaxed at first, but Tae Joon sang Japanese popular love song “Ellie, my love by Southern All Stars”. Sukkie began to feel pressured. Because his song was so moving. On the other hand, Sukkie prepared a love letter for her. He wrote down the message on a heart-shaped envelope. And the content was so sweet. I’m so sorry I forgot the message. It was too sweet to remember it. And the final decision was… she selected Momo!!!! At first, I thought she would chose Tae Joon because his love song was so touching. But after hearing Sukkie’s sincere message, I changed my mind. In any case, I’ll choose Sukkie!!!! 🙂

Then the cast sang “I only look at you” in chorus again. Some YMP scenes were re-played on the stage. And Sukkie sang “Mandy” in a melow voice and danced in fountain. So romantic. (///▽//)

After his singing, the main screen showed the message from YMP cast. Then Sukkie sang “Oh my lady” with Ha-neul.

After the performance, all the cast gathered and greeted us. Sukkie said, “Thank you for coming to Kyocera Dome and theaters today. It was my first big stage this year. I’ll get myself into good physical condition next time. And at last, please give your warm applause for backup dancers, kids dancers and the staff”.

That’s all for my FA. I went there alone and just gazed at Sukkie in fascination. He coughed secretly and looked not well, but still he enjoyed himself so much. I was happy to feel it. After the show, I remained there for a while. I was basking in the afterglow of the show. I felt differently about when I attend shows on site. I felt excited, but furthermore, I could enjoy it from various viewpoints. I could feel his breathing and sweating through the big screen. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. Of course, the first thing is I want to see him in person, but I found watching live from a distance is also great experience.
