  1. My favorite JKS album since Monocrome. His early albums had so many songs where his voice was filled with emotion – he’s incredibly good at telling us stories with the emotion in his singing, and it’s exciting to hear that. His later albums are beautifully produced and his voice sounds great, but I haven’t heard as much emotion in his voice.

This Vol1 is filled with variety, and his emotional story-telling is wonderful! Many of these songs remind me of his Team H solos – and I’m loving him giving us some lyrics in English. 💕💕

    • That’s probably because TEAM H also started as a hobby. As for MONOCHROME – then as well as now he went through deep contemplating for a long time before the production and it reflects in his work.

Now he’s a professional singer so it sounds beyond great that he sings from his guts, in his mother language, all 3 members fully created all songs together – he wanted to form a band since before his singer debut. Except HOME lyrics but it’s this album’s gem nevertheless, isn’t it?

Adding the fine music with world-class Rocking groove, it’s a masterpiece like his 1st album JUST CRAZY (which also came after years of debating to find the right time to debut as a singer, exploding to express himself). It fits him like a tailored, tight glove. Like he found his ‘own color’ he’s been talking about searching while widely experimenting over the years, like CCH extracted from him all that singer potential he mentioned over a decade ago.

  3. Is it okay to put here the romanized lyrics? I couldn’t find any so made a ‘sing-along’ kit (like karaoke, as much as possible without separating letters of the Korean words). It looks like this (only the romanized sould be enlarged):

    geuleong-geuleong nunmul goin neo(iu)*e* du nun-eul bomyeo
그렁그렁 눈물 고인 너의 두 눈을 보며
Looking at your eyes with tears welling up

beullabeulla al su eob(s)neun maldeulman doenoeine
    블라블라 알수 없는 말들만 되뇌이네
Blabla, I only repeat unknown words
