Korean actor, Jang Keun Suk (28) held his solo concert at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on November 29th. He sang 18 songs in total passionately. Some were from his past dramas’ OST such as ‘Without words’ ‘Promise’ ‘Can you hear me?’. While singing them, the drama scenes were shown on big screens, which pleased about 10,000 fans attending there.

This tour had 4 stages in total held in Osaka and Chiba. About 32,000 people attended his these concerts. Today was the last day, so when he greeted to fans with the band members at the end of the stage, he wiped his eyes.

“Today is the last performance this year, but I believe an end means another beginning. I’ll continue doing my best to make you happier.” Jang Keun Suk said to the audience with enthusiasm.

He is really good at handling Japanese. During the show, his way of speaking Japanese was superb. He talked as follows; “I lost about 5 kg in a month. Which you prefer, round-look Keun-chan or sharp-look Keun-chan?” “I need to be more careful when I speak. Perhaps I need to fasten my seatbelt not to open freely.” “I’ve been interested in a drone recently. If I could ride it, I would be able to move everywhere I want to in the venue.”

In the encore, not a drone, but he drove a ‘Segway PT’ which is a two-wheeled, self-balancing, battery-powered electric vehicle. He was driving it freely and gave a lot of flying kisses.

  1. I’m sure they messed up the numbers of attendee… looking at the floor plan it must have been far more than that!!!!

but write up is ok…I’m sure our boy would ride a drone if he could..just to be very very close to ALL his eels…maybe that will be possible in the future
I know I would want him near..(but if he flies we can’t see his handsome face 🙁 )

  3. They have forget to mention the live viewing of the yesterdays concert in the cinamas all over Japan. So number of the people who have seen “Live in Japan” must be even bigger.

Thank you for the translation, Tenshi. 🙂
