Jang Keun Suk has very sharp eyes indeed. In such a crowd, he can spot that his name was written wrongly on a fan’s board, and he walked over to the fan to correct his name! If I were the fan, think I’ll faint if JKS walks to me!!
Super long post, but it provides an insight into Jang Keun Suk’s background and current website situation.
Tree-J Company has made an announcement recently on JKS official website to advise official members NOT to re-post (original or translated) information, posts and videos etc outside of their website. After knowing this, I deleted my translation of JKS’ blog post (dated 6 Jan 2011) from my blog as well.
The notice caused an uproar and a divide among eels, some of whom think negatively about this new “guideline”.
So prepare a cup of coffee and something to munch on as you slowly digest the translation and my Personal Comments thereafter : )

No translation, but I’m content with seeing Jang Keun Suk work behind the scenes!
Love his smile, passion and professionalism!
His “The Last in Seoul” DVD is on sale by pre-ordering from an agent company, but it does not have English or Chinese subtitles.
I guess I’ll wait for the subtitled version if there is one, because it is hard not knowing what JKS is talking about.
I think the first pre-order phase carried out in Korea, Taiwan, China and Singapore etc is already over. The last I checked (if my memory serves me correctly), pre-ordering involves sending an email with your order, wait for their money transfer details, transfer the money, send another email with the transaction details, then they will send a confirmation email, then you have to wait some time for the delivery. There should be a second pre-order phase coming up soon.

As this is a new blog dedicated to JKS, I was considering these serious questions on the future direction of my blog : p
(1) Should I post every single piece of juicy gossip about JKS?
(2) Should I post / translate eels’ encounters with JKS?
After much thought, I decided not to. If I post all the bits and pieces, I’ll never get any rest, so I thought I’ll just stick to posting official news or reports about JKS events. My resolution lasted for one day, until I saw this eel story that got me squeeing in delight and thinking, I want to post this!
Conclusion: I will still re-post (or translate) any fan accounts that I think worthwhile. I hope to meet JKS one day, and have this dream experience too : D
Enjoy the read~

2 Jan Guangzhou trip – Like a Dream
I say it’s like a dream, my boyfriend says it’s like watching television drama.
As it was New Year, I was already on vacation and at home. I only knew at midnight that JKS was coming to Guangzhou, and decided on the spot that I must go.Share on Facebook
As Zegda’s first-generation product ambassador for a term of 2 years, JKS
is in Guangzhou on 3 and 4 Jan 2011 to film commercials. A support team
of 50 people came from Korea together with JKS to provide a slew of services
for the filming, testament to his international star status.
The filming sets, including that of a European-style small town, took 1
month to prepare at a cost of one million dollars. JKS will present different
roles in the commercials such as skateboard specialist and hip-hop dancer.
[Info from: Zegda @ Sina]
Filming was completed smoothly, and below is an account from one of the
filming staff, with credits to Baidusukbar.
Simply hilarious! Park Shin Hye (PSH) was the celebrity DJ on a radio show shortly after midnight on 4 August, when Jang Keun Suk’s (JKS) manager called in, pretending to be an 18-year old student who can mimick JKS’ voice perfectly, but actually it was JKS doing those mimicking parts. The manager used his own name but surprisingly, PSH didn’t seem to recognize the name. Not sure whether this is in 2009 or 2010?
JKS’ arrival in Guang-zhou, China, on 2 Jan 2011 at 5.10 pm caused quite a stir as expected. Over 400 fans have been waiting for him at the airport since morning. In the clip above, the railing was overturned and a few eels fell, but luckily no one was injured. JKS paused to see whether help was needed. On his way out of the airport, he blew kisses at fans and left in a car, with many fans in cars pursuing him!
