First of all, the fact that Jang Keun Suk comes back to acting in a drama made his fans excited. He hasn’t appeared in any dramas since “Love Rain” aired on KBS2 last year. That’s why just the announcement he’s going to appear on a drama after one year interval drove fans crazily happy.

Secondly, the original of his drama “Beautiful Man” has also drawn attention. The original comic “Beautiful Man” by Chun Kye Young has already gained popularity.

The lead characters of the comic “Beautiful Man” is Dokgo Ma-Te. The most beautiful man in the world, Dokgo Ma-Te is an ambitious man, using his charm fully to achieve money and success career.

The production company is also well-known among viewers. It’s Group8 that produced “Boys Over Flowers” and “Love in Palace”.

The lead actor, the original comic and the production company. All have already got enough reputation to raise viewer’s expectations. A person involved in the production company conveyed a deep message. “You can see new possibilities of Jang Keun Suk through Dokgo Ma-Te.”

This means Dokgo Ma-Te is totally different from other characters Jang Keun Suk played before. We are intrigued by this statement. We guess his look is “beautiful” but the character itself might be “bad”.

The lead actor, the original and the production company were announced, but TV station that broadcasts this drama hasn’t confirmed yet. We suppose programming TV among three terrestrial stations is going to be more competitive. If integrated channels that are stepping into the area of terrestrial stations affect programming TV, it’ll be much more competitive.

In various aspects, Jang Keun Suk and “Beautiful Man” are in the news for a while.
