It appears actor Jang Geun Suk will not be appearing on the second season of ‘Produce 101.’
On January 16, according to a show rep, the actor was set to be the MC of the show, upon receiving much praise for his mentor position and commentary performance in the first season. However, the situation quickly changed.
A representative from Mnet stated, “Due to Jang Geun Suk’s busy schedule, he will not be participating in the show. We are currently looking for a male MC.”
Furthermore, the rep added, “This will not affect the production of season two, as it is being produced as planned.”
