Dae Gil… The Devil’s Provocation to the King
The lucky Baek Dae Gil, twice been arrowed, stabbed and fell off a cliff, buried alive neck-deep, sold and slaved, and now framed for murder punishable by death. But he never dies. Yi In Jwa (aka The Devil hehe) will let him live until the King gives up the throne.
But why Daegil? Because Daegil should have been the perfect plan. The master plan. But he became the perfect failure, Yi In Jwa’s failure. The plan should have been perfect, a conspiracy between Yi In Jwa and Lady Choi. A perfect spite against the King. An eye for an eye. But the infant Daegil was born prematurely and was presumed to die early. Yi in Jwa can not accept the fact that he failed from the start, still he never misses an opportunity to provoke the King. His only hope of victory is Daegil.
Yi In Jwa tried using the Crown Prince but he was too sick to fit the throne. He can never touch Yeoning for he was born with Lady Choi’s (now Sukbin) determination to raise him to be the King’s black sheep, enough not to fit the throne. Although the King favors Yeoning because he can see his son’s boldness, determination and loyalty to his Majesty.
Yi In Jwa should have adopted Daegil the way he did with Dam Seo which later became a trained assassin to kill he King. This might not be possible because Lady Sukbin is still there. The very emotionally-weak woman… and mother. He takes advantage of this, so his plan is to play the game by threatening the mother and child destiny. By making Daegil’s life miserable and spiteful, enough to hate his life to later on hate the King. With the very clear fact that Daegil is still eligible to inherit the throne.
But the King is no fool from Yi In Jwa’s plan. Every scheme that In Jwa makes all ricocheted to him. He uses Daegil to get back on every In Jwa’s move. But how much stronger can the King be to be able to keep his pride and use his son to stop In Jwa’s evil plans.
How much more provocation will there be to make the tiger (the King) get out of it’s cave for the hunter’s (In Jwa) arrow of evil revenge struck it’s heart and meets its death.
We are just halfway from this ill fated story. I know all of us wish for Daegil’s happy ending. I hope u enjoyed my review and thank you bearing with me. Love you all ❤Share on Facebook
