[News] ‘Daebak’ wins Monday-Tuesday race

The SBS period drama “Daebak” ranked No.1 in viewership ratings, defeating its competitors in the 10 p.m. prime-time slot.
The drama, starring hallyu star Jang Keun-suk, Yeo Jin-goo, Choi Min-soo and Lim Ji-yeon, attracted 12.2 percent viewership nationwide in its second episode that went on air Tuesday.

KBS2 drama “My Lawyer Mr.Jo,” starring Park Shin-yang, followed in second place with 11.4 percent. MBC drama “Monster,” starring Sung Yu-ri and Kang Ji-hwan, racked in 7 percent nationwide viewership.

Historic drama “Daebak,” which is set in the Joseon era, tells the story of two sons of King Sukjong, Baek Dae-gil, a fictional character played by Jang, and Prince Yeonying who later becomes King Youngjo, played by Yeo.

The drama airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. on SBS network.
