Jang Keun Suk nationwide Japan tour ‘2015 JANG KEUN SUK THE CRISHOW III’ that started at Orix Theater in Osaka ended on a high note.

The final stage of JANG KEUN SUK 2015 HALL & ARENA TOUR ‘THE CRISHOW III ~MONOCHROME~’ that about 55,000 audience participated was at Nippon Budokan on June 3rd.

The stage was not like his previous showy concerts. It tried to show his lyric world in exhaustive detail. It was simple, but very elaborate production, which helped the audience to feel JKS’ growth and unlimited potential as an artist.

Especially using scrim to express the analog world and projection mapping to express the visual world succeeded to synchronize him on stage. We the audience were fallen into the MONOCHROME world by the fantastical production with projection and lighting.

The hall stages held in 6 cities realized the concept of the tour ‘much closer to fans’ to the full. Although the arena stages had the similar set list to the hall ones, he showed us a different world. In the first half of the stage, JKS was a well-polished ballad singer that he had improved how to convey emotions through the tour. In the last half, on the other hand, he was a marvelous rock star performing with dancers. With each staging that has a distinct charm, he painted the huge arena with his own color. As he said at the beginning of the tour, he could communicate with fans by singing ‘songs’.

JKS conveyed his sincere thanks to fans who had kept supporting him many times during the show. It was his 3rd appearance on Nippon Budokan, but the previous ones were for his drama fan meeting and TEAM H performance, not for his solo concert. So it seemed very meaningful for him standing on the stage of Nippon Budokan as the final stage of his three-month tour.

The hall tour started from Osaka in March and continued to Niigata, Fukuoka, Okayama, Shizuoka and Sapporo. And the arena tour was held in Kobe and Tokyo. JKS completed the tour successfully in the 8 cities and on 16 stages, in total. We can’t wait to hear his next project.

  10. Hi everyone πŸ™‚ I would just like to take a small chance and ask if by any chance, is there a Full video coverage available online for our dear JKS crishow 3 concert in Japan last 2015? I am looking for Kobe, Japan concert in english sub, hopefully. I found one but with Esp sub hehe πŸ™‚

I find it the most striking concert ever huhu. the last time, I am just watching randomly some concerts of JKS in youtube and I was able to watch some portions of his crishow 3 concert in Kobe, Japan. The most epic for me is the go back sweet home where eels full-heartedly sang the song together with JKS, which made me cry literally while watching :(, then yesterday, I was able to watch the video where he sang turn off and save me, on the same concert πŸ™‚

With that, I would like to watch the full concert of it if it is available πŸ™‚

How I wish, I can go to Japan in the future and watch JKS concert live. as for my observations, he has that great production whenever he holds concerts in Japan. But what I like most, is his japanese-inspired lyrics, musics and beat.

His monochrome album, is for me the best! <3 some of my favorites are: Go Back Sweet Home and The Sky and You πŸ™‚
