KBS drama “Love Rain” DVD with English subs First Press Limited Edition will go on sale in Korea on Sep 20th. This edition comes with outtakes, highlights, making-of, press conference and gallery.

tenshi, really? is this the one with more episodes for 70′s ? i thought of the director’s cut version to be more than 20 episodes.
The director’s version is more than 30 minutes longer than Korean broadcast version. Director Yoon said, “Because of the tight shooting schedule, we couldn’t edit well at that time.” And I heard because of copyright issue, the scene of seeing movie “Love Story” was deleted. Only Japanese version DVD box contains 21 episodes.

I haven’t been able to find the regular version. This is the first limited edition, so I think it costs a bit higher than the regular one.
Is good news while I get angry because the region 2 is not included, I really want to buy it.

Andrea, Japanese version (not only about Korean drama “Love Rain” but even other Japanese or U.S. dramas) is released separately. This time Love Rain DVD is released separately by 3 boxes. It means the total cost is three times higher than this Korean version… Japanese eels are all on the edge of bankruptcy. *sigh

Maybe condensed versions will be out soon. I haven’t bought this limited edition one yet. I have my little trip next week so don’t know how much money I will have left. I won’t dip into savings even for our Prince if I want to actually make it overseas next year. Thanks for the information

I have pre-ordered this as I really love to keep this DVD of Love Rain… will be getting another version (with Chinese dubbed) – Taiwanese version for my mum as she can’t understand English sub.
The Taiwanese version is simplified with only drama itself, not with all those director cut or BTS…

Hello. Can you clarify which one is director cut? Is it only Japanese version has more complete screens? Why the Taiwanese version is much cheaper besides of the DVD quality? Less EP?
